This role suits strong builders who enjoy translating complex distributed-systems concepts into working examples and teaching narratives, and who want to shape an education platform as a real product rather than a side project.

## Required

- Strong software engineering background
- Production-quality code in at least one of Go, Java, TypeScript, Python, or .NET
- Understanding of distributed systems fundamentals: state management, fault tolerance, concurrency, event-driven architectures
- Experience creating high-quality technical education content for developer audiences
- Clear technical communication, written and verbal
- Ability to operate as a senior individual contributor with ownership and minimal direction
- Product and ownership instinct focused on learner experience
- Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Developer Success, Marketing, and Solutions Architecture
- Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences, events, and team offsites

## Nice to have

- Experience with Temporal or another workflow orchestration system
- Background in developer education, developer relations, or technical enablement
- Open source contributions in developer tooling or distributed systems
- Experience building LLM-powered applications or AI agents and understanding their reliability challenges at scale
- Experience with a learning management system or education platform
