## Required

- Proficiency in C, C++, or Rust
- Willingness to work in Rust
- Linux and operating system principles knowledge
- Software that interacts with hardware devices or strong systems background
- Understanding of software development lifecycle phases
- Automated testing experience
- Git and CI/CD fundamentals
- Bachelor's degree in Software, Computer, Electrical, Aerospace engineering or equivalent

## Nice to have

- Several years of professional software engineering experience
- Network and socket programming for telemetry or commanding
- Inter-process communication (IPC) experience
- Advanced Rust knowledge
- Embedded Linux systems and Yocto/OpenEmbedded experience
- SmallSat/CubeSat software development and testing
- Hardware-in-the-loop integration and testing
- Protocol Buffers, ZeroMQ, gRPC, and Systemd experience
