## Required

- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Significant experience building and operating backend services in production
- Fluency using AI tools in software engineering workflows
- Experience designing scalable, reliable, observable, and maintainable customer-facing systems
- Strong programming experience in Go or comparable backend language
- Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, data pipelines, or data-intensive services
- Familiarity with analytical, operational, or warehouse data stores
- Experience diagnosing production issues and improving system reliability
- Experience working in cloud environments with infrastructure-as-code tooling
- Ability to manage problems from discovery through design, implementation, launch, and operation
- Clear communication and collaborative approach
- Participation in on-call rotation

## Nice to have

- Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, analytics, data platforms, or similarly data-intensive products
