## Summary

Cohere seeks a Senior Account Executive to drive new business within the Manufacturing sector, selling AI platform solutions to large enterprises. This role combines consultative selling of complex technical products with deep industry knowledge and relationship-building, requiring someone comfortable managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting through deployment support.

## Required

- 8-12+ years B2B sales experience with Global 2000 and large manufacturing enterprises
- Track record of closing transformational multi-year SaaS deals in the seven-figure range
- Proven ability to exceed quota
- Deep understanding of the Manufacturing industry, including key trends and challenges
- Ability to articulate AI and NLP value in manufacturing contexts such as predictive maintenance, supply chain optimization, and quality control
- Experience with regulatory and compliance requirements specific to Manufacturing
- High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to self-direct in an unstructured environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage C-suite and both technical and non-technical audiences

## Nice to have

- Previous experience as a technical consultative salesperson selling complex products such as developer tools, APIs, or AI/NLP solutions with manufacturing focus
- Previous experience working with customers during solution deployment and configuration
- Previous experience working with channel partners such as cloud hyperscalers and system integrators
- Curiosity to develop expertise in NLP and AI technology
