- 4+ years clinical laboratory training or experience in assigned specialty
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (DNV, CLIA, OSHA, AABB, COLA, CAP, ASHI)
- Expertise in analytical testing within specialty
- Fluent English communication (verbal and written)
- Ability to read and comprehend technical text and numbers
- Leadership and independent professional judgment
- Competency with CLIA high-complexity testing requirements
- Confidentiality and regulatory compliance awareness

## Nice to have

- 5+ years supervisory experience in complex clinical laboratory
- Additional licensure or certification depending on unit or state
