- Experience engaging with regulators or standards bodies

## Nice to have

- 8–12 years regulatory legal experience
- Direct experience with frontier AI laws (California SB 53, Colorado AI Act, EU AI Act)
- Experience at frontier AI company or large technology platform

- Familiarity with model evaluation or AI safety concepts
- Combined private practice and in-house experience
- Comfort with ambiguity and developing novel compliance approaches
- Strong organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Understanding of regulator and standards body relationship-building
