This role builds the infrastructure systems that power Supabase's cloud platform, managing multi-region compute provisioning, autoscaling, and resource optimization at massive scale. ## Required

- Strong software engineering skills in Go and TypeScript
- Experience building and operating cloud infrastructure or distributed systems at scale
- 5+ years with cloud infrastructure, particularly compute, networking, and storage services
- 3+ years building custom Kubernetes controllers and operating large-scale clusters (tens to hundreds of thousands of pods)
- Knowledge of networking and multi-region infrastructure design
- Familiarity with Postgres
- Experience with on-call rotations for large production systems

## Nice to have

- AWS experience (stated as required, but context suggests it is the primary requirement)
- Additional cloud provider experience (GCP, Azure)
- Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Pulumi
- Experience with QEMU, KVM, and NAS
