## Required

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 4+ years of embedded software development, testing, and debugging
- Experience with embedded Linux drivers, bootloaders, memory interfaces, kernel modules, and board support packages
- Experience with Yocto/OpenEmbedded
- Strong proficiency in C, C++, and Python or similar scripting languages
- Experience with Git

## Nice to have

- Bash and shell scripting experience
- Experience with multiple microcontroller families and chipsets
- FPGA and VHDL development experience
- Real-time deterministic embedded systems experience
- Robotic control or motor control systems experience
- Altium or similar PCB design tools experience
- Electrical troubleshooting equipment experience (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer)
- Failure Detection, Isolation, and Recovery (FDIR) and fault-tolerant design knowledge
- Space application hardware development experience
- Spacecraft systems and instrumentation experience
- Communication protocol experience (CAN bus, RS-232/RS-422, TCP/IP, spacecraft protocols)
- Git, CI/CD, and Docker experience
- Agile development framework experience
- Software integration, testing, and unit testing experience
