## Summary

This role owns the data architecture and modeling that powers decision-making across Topline Pro's SaaS platform, building the centralized fact and dimension layers that teams depend on to understand business performance. You'll design scalable Snowflake and dbt systems, model complex subscription and payments data, and raise standards for SQL quality and documentation across the organization.

## Required

- 8+ years in analytics engineering or data engineering with recent modeling experience
- Proficiency with Snowflake and dbt including incremental strategies, testing, and macros
- Advanced SQL skills with ability to spot silent data errors
- Deep knowledge of SaaS metrics (MRR, retention, churn, cohorts, expansion)
- Expertise in subscription billing and payments data modeling including invoices, proration, and refunds
- Track record owning centralized fact and dimension tables relied upon by the company
- Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into durable models
- Anticipate failure modes and design for maintainability

## Nice to have

- Python experience for ingestion work (Snowpark, custom connectors, or Fivetran)
- Experience with Heap or similar product analytics tools
- Familiarity with RevOps and CX data stacks (HubSpot, Salesloft, Twilio, Dialpad)
- Previous startup or high-growth SaaS experience, especially SMB or product-led
