## Required

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related field plus 4+ years of experience, or Master's degree plus 0-3+ years of experience
- Deep understanding of Linux kernel internals including user/kernel space, device trees, and systemd
- Knowledge of Linux kernel architecture including scheduler, memory management, interrupt handling
- Process and IPC concepts including fork/exec, signals, shared memory, pipes, sockets
- Experience with Linux device drivers and user space drivers for PCIe, DMA, Ethernet, CAN
- Linux security knowledge including secure boot chains, filesystem hardening, and namespace isolation
- Strong experience with Linux development in embedded systems with latency analysis
- Real-time embedded systems knowledge for automotive or similar industries
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming
- System call, memory management, and process management understanding
- Experience with GDB, strace, and Valgrind debugging tools
- Multi-threaded, multi-core, and multi-processor systems experience
- Understanding of OS concepts like semaphores, mutexes, message queues, shared memory
- Hardware interface familiarity with SPI, I2C, UART, Automotive Ethernet, CAN, GPIO
- Git version control and CI/CD practices knowledge

## Nice to have

- Knowledge of build systems like Make, CMake, Yocto, Buildstream, Bazel
- Namespace isolation knowledge with containers and CGroups
- Networking protocols knowledge including TCP/IP, SSH, HTTP
- Python or Bash scripting for automation and testing
- Exposure to NVIDIA DriveOS
- Experience with Vector Cast or GTest for unit testing
