This role suits an experienced architect comfortable mentoring teams, setting standards, and driving complex distributed systems work in a healthcare technology environment.

## Required

- 10+ years of full-stack software development experience
- Experience building modern database-backed web applications
- Microservice development experience
- Proven technical leadership as principal or lead architect for a major product domain
- Deep knowledge of high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems
- Ability to influence engineering direction across multiple stakeholders without direct authority
- Experience mentoring engineers and establishing design patterns
- Full development lifecycle expertise from planning through post-launch maintenance

## Nice to have

- Background in provider ecosystems or healthcare data standards
- Start-up experience
- AWS cloud platform experience
- Experience with high reliability/accuracy requirement systems like finance or mission-critical applications
- On-call experience and ability to independently resolve complex issues
- Node.js, TypeScript, or Kafka experience
