- 4+ years of data engineering or analytics engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent)
- Advanced SQL expertise for transactional and analytical workloads
- Experience with SQL Server and Snowflake
- Building end-to-end data pipelines with Kafka, Confluent, CDC, or Snowflake
- Understanding of dimensional modeling, star schemas, and normalized design
- Python proficiency for automation and data processing
- Experience with dbt and ELT methodologies
- Hands-on use of Argo or similar workflow orchestration
- Git-based version control and CI/CD via GitHub or Azure DevOps
- Demonstrated use of AI/ML for automation, predictive insights, or anomaly detection
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to mentor teammates

## Nice to have

- AI-first engineering environment experience
- Agentic programming and AI-assisted development workflow experience
- Supporting both operational applications and enterprise analytics
- Experience in high-growth organizations prioritizing scalability and rapid delivery
