## Summary

AST SpaceMobile seeks an NDT Technician to inspect satellite components and assemblies for manufacturing defects using ultrasonic, radiographic, dye penetrant, and magnetic particle testing methods. This role suits experienced NDT professionals with aerospace or manufacturing backgrounds who want to apply their inspection skills to large-scale space hardware production.

## Required

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Level II NDT Certification in at least one method (UT, RT, PT, or MT) per NAS-410 or equivalent
- 3+ years hands-on NDT experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial environments
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Attention to detail and defect recognition skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced production environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive precision tasks with hands and fingers
- Ability to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as needed
- Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work in and around large structures, equipment, and tooling
- Ability to work near moving mechanical parts
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to work in environments with fumes, airborne particles, and hazardous materials

## Nice to have

- Experience with composite materials and carbon fiber structures
- Aerospace manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with large structural assemblies
- Experience in cleanroom or controlled environments
