## Required

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 2–5 years of software development experience
- Java and Spring Boot application development
- Understanding of REST APIs and microservice architectures
- Familiarity with messaging or event-driven systems
- Knowledge of software design principles, OOP, data structures, and algorithms
- Source control, code review, and CI/CD experience
- SQL and relational database knowledge
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively

## Nice to have

- Event-driven architecture experience (Kafka, MQ, or similar)
- Cloud platform experience (PCF, Tanzu, Kubernetes, or containerized workloads)
- Distributed systems knowledge (resiliency, fault tolerance, scalability, performance optimization)
- Observability tools experience (Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus)
- CI/CD pipeline and automated testing framework familiarity
- PCI, security, or regulatory requirement exposure
- High-volume transaction processing systems experience
