This role leads Anthropic's expansion into US public health by managing partnerships with government agencies, nonprofits, and health organizations to deploy AI systems that address real public health challenges. You'll combine deep ecosystem credibility with enough technical understanding to shape how AI gets deployed responsibly across federal, state, and local health agencies.

## Required

- 10+ years in US public health, health policy, or public sector health innovation
- 5+ years managing external partnerships or multi-stakeholder initiatives spanning government and civil society
- Deep relationships and credibility across US public health ecosystem (CDC, state health departments, schools of public health, foundations)
- Working knowledge of how federal, state, and local public health agencies operate, fund programs, and adopt technology
- Technical fluency to engage on AI concepts and partner effectively with technical teams
- Experience building programs in early-stage environments without established playbooks
- High agency and comfort with ambiguity
- Commitment to strengthening public health systems and communities
- MPH or related credential
- Bachelor's degree minimum

## Nice to have

- Experience inside a federal or state health agency (CDC, HHS, state DOH)
- Epidemiology background with hands-on surveillance experience at state, local, or federal level
- Experience working in global contexts
- Healthtech, AI organization, or product-adjacent role experience
