- Minimum 5 years software development experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree

- Expertise in IBM Assembler on z/OS
- Knowledge of z/OS Language Environment
- System-level functions experience (SVCs, PC calls)
- Source Code Management tools experience (Endevor or GitHub)

## Nice to have

- z/OS systems components experience (JCL, ISPF, CICS, CLIST)
- PL/1 and mainframe database experience (Datacom, IDMS, DB2)
- Additional language skills (Metal C, COBOL, REXX, C, C++)
- Test Automation, Jenkins, Python, or CI/CD Automation knowledge
- Blackduck, Coverity, or zACS tool experience
- Ability to read system dumps
