- 5+ years in site reliability, platform, or infrastructure engineering with senior-level ownership of production systems
- Strong programming skills in languages like Go, Python, or TypeScript for automation and tooling
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code
- Leadership experience with incident response and SLO-driven reliability practices
- Practical experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA tooling)
- Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals including identity, least-privilege patterns, and secrets management
- Communication skills to present security and reliability findings as shared problems

## Nice to have

- AWS experience
- Datadog experience
- Policy-as-code frameworks like Kyverno, OPA/Rego, or Conftest
- Experience in regulated environments (SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA)
- Chaos engineering or game-day experience
- Supporting high-traffic B2C mobile backend environments
