- 8+ years relevant work experience with Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years with Advanced degree, or 2+ years with PhD, or 11+ years total experience
- Cyber security incident handling experience
- Proficiency with common security tools (SIEM, AV, WAF, IDS, Netflow, Packet Analyzer, EDR)
- Understanding of TCP/IP, packet analysis, and network security
- Operating system expertise (Windows and Linux)
- Understanding of web application security vulnerabilities
- Problem-solving skills with ability to handle complex issues
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities

## Nice to have

- 9+ years relevant work experience with Bachelor's degree or 7+ with Advanced degree or 3+ with PhD
- Subject matter expertise in incident response, threat hunting, malware analysis, web application security, or security engineering
- 3+ years SOC work experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related technical discipline
- Experience in enterprise-level incident response teams or SOCs
- Security certifications (CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, GCED, GCFA, CySA+)
- Extensive malware and network attack method knowledge
- Web application security risk understanding
- DDoS techniques and mitigation expertise
- Cloud technologies and security best practices knowledge
