## Summary

AST SpaceMobile is hiring a field engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot satellite gateway systems supporting their LEO satellite network across multiple locations. The role suits someone with RF and satellite communications experience who can work independently at remote sites and is willing to travel internationally.

## Required

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or related technical field
- Minimum 3 years of field engineering or satellite technician experience
- Experience supporting communications infrastructure or RF systems
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Valid passport
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds

## Nice to have

- Satellite communications certifications (VSAT, SatCom, or similar)
- Experience with satellite communication systems and gateway infrastructure
- Proficiency with RF test and measurement equipment including spectrum analyzers and signal generators
- Experience with system integration, commissioning, and testing
- Knowledge of networking concepts and IP-based communications
- Experience supporting geographically distributed or remote operational sites
- Strong English communication skills
