- Active, current, full, and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in a US state or territory
- Current basic board certification (FNP, ANP, AGPCNP, ACNP, AGACNP, or GNP) from ANCC, AANPCB, or equivalent nationally recognized certifying body
- Licensed independent practitioner with advanced education and national certification
