- 6+ years building large-scale backend systems and APIs

- Relational and NoSQL database expertise with strong SQL and database modeling skills
- Experience with Datadog or comparable observability tooling
- Clear async-first communication and cross-functional collaboration
- Track emerging AI models and agentic workflows in real time

## Nice to have

- Experience balancing 0-to-1 initiatives with improving complex existing systems
- Deep familiarity with distributed systems and system resilience patterns
- Track record of identifying and eliminating technical debt at scale
