## Summary

AeroVironment seeks a systems engineer to lead model-based system engineering and digital engineering initiatives across the full development lifecycle, from concept through operational deployment. ## Required

- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical, Software, or Computational Neuroscience Engineering (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of systems engineering experience including system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation
- Experience with MBSE, Cameo/MSOSA, and/or SysML
- U.S. citizenship
- Existing DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI and special access

## Nice to have

- Experience developing and managing program baselines
- Demonstrated experience developing system architectures for complex aerospace vehicles or subsystems using MBSE (SysML/MSOSA)
- Experience developing or supporting architecture, requirements, and verification for RF systems (communications, radar, electromagnetic environmental effects) or RF test systems
- Prior leadership in system architecture or lead systems engineering roles with experience communicating architectural tradeoffs
- Understanding of engineering analyses including affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, and susceptibility
- Knowledge of system security, regulatory, certification, and product assurance factors
- Background in systems engineering processes such as RIO and TPM management and technical review planning
