- 4+ years designing and developing automated test solutions for engineering or manufacturing
- 2+ years software development using Microsoft Windows

## Nice to have

- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
- Experience testing and characterizing integrated photonic devices or photonic integrated circuits
- Strong understanding of optical component design, characterization, and measurement techniques
- Experience with wafer probing equipment and automated wafer-level test platforms
- Familiarity with National Instruments hardware and remote instrument control protocols
- Mechanical system design and integration experience
- Optical system design and alignment background
- RF test experience
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle, architecture, and maintainable test software practices
