## Summary

This role focuses on building data pipelines and models to optimize cloud spending and create cost visibility across AWS and GCP infrastructure. You'll partner with engineering and finance teams to identify savings opportunities, establish reliable cost attribution, and automate governance through data-driven analysis.

Amazon Web Services (AWS), AWS Lambda, Bash (Scripting), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Google BigQuery, Linear, Notion, Python, SQL, Terraform

## Required

- Strong AWS expertise and working GCP knowledge including pricing models and cost optimization
- dbt and BigQuery (or equivalent modern warehouse) with SQL at scale
- Data modeling for analytics including dimensional modeling and incremental models
- Python or Terraform/Pulumi/Lambda/Bash scripting skills
- Ability to analyze and present cost data to technical and non-technical audiences
- Prior experience in FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud governance context

## Nice to have

- Data science fundamentals including statistical forecasting and anomaly detection
- Experience with cloud cost management platforms like CloudZero or Vantage
- Familiarity with Linear and Notion
- Experimentation and statistical modeling knowledge
