## Required

- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years relevant experience and 5+ years in management roles, or advanced degree with 5+ years relevant experience and 5+ years in management roles
- Balance technical leadership with people management and execution discipline
- Familiarity with Python and C++
- Thorough understanding of software architecture, design, implementation, code review, integration, and requirements traceability
- Lead software teams on complex medical device software
- Work minimum 4 days per week onsite

## Nice to have

- Medical product software development and FDA guidance experience
- Strong knowledge of IEC-62304
- Understanding of good documentation practices and software lifecycle processes
- Experience with embedded software, real-time systems, imaging, or mapping platforms
- Experience leading teams on real-time performance, hardware integration, data visualization, or distributed systems
- Technical degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- Experience writing technical reports
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams including Quality, Regulatory, Systems, and Test
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization (required for roles below Principal level)
