## Required

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of professional mechanical design engineering experience in aerospace
- U.S. Person status (visa sponsorship not available)
- Proficiency with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
- Ability to generate production-ready engineering drawings and models
- Proficiency in basic mechanical analysis with hand calculations and simulation tools

## Nice to have

- 6+ years of professional mechanical design engineering experience
- Direct experience in spacecraft or spacecraft subsystem design
- Experience in chemical or electric propulsion systems design
- Familiarity with propellant compatibility considerations including HTP and green propellants
- Strong understanding of DFM principles and manufacturing methods for traditional machining and additive manufacturing
- Experience with GD&T principles
- Experience taking complex designs from concept through production and testing
- Experience with mechanical packaging design for electronics and harness routing
- Familiarity with aerospace industry design standards
