## Summary

## Required

- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of safety and/or weapons system safety experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. DoD Secret security clearance
- Demonstrated experience applying MIL-STD-882E in defense or aerospace
- Hands-on experience with hazard analyses (PHA, FHA, SHA, SSHA)
- Experience with FMECA or similar reliability/safety analysis methods
- Experience authoring System Safety Management Plans, Safety Assessment Reports, and Hazard Logs
- Experience presenting safety analyses at technical and program reviews
- Multidisciplinary engineering collaboration and communication skills
- U.S. person status (citizen, green card holder, refugee, or asylee) for ITAR compliance

## Nice to have

- Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related field from ABET-accredited institution
- Current active U.S. DoD Secret clearance or higher
- Experience with UAVs, UAS, or weaponized unmanned systems
- Weapon system safety board or fuze board participation
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-1316 and MIL-STD-1901
- Software safety experience including DO-178C
- Familiarity with AMCOM 385-17 and Army aviation safety programs
- Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analyses
- Human factors and human-systems integration in safety context
- Requirements management and MBSE tools (Jama, Cameo)
