## Required

- MS or PhD in Machine Learning, NLP, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
- Hands-on experience fine-tuning open-weight models
- Strong understanding of LLM training pipelines and how data quality affects each stage
- Experience designing and executing rigorous experiments with hypothesis formation and statistical analysis
- Ability to move from problem definition to results in days
- Strong written and verbal communication

## Nice to have

- Prior experience at a frontier AI lab, applied ML startup, or research role with direct client interaction
- Experience evaluating and benchmarking LLMs with custom metrics
- Familiarity with annotation workflows, quality assurance, and inter-annotator agreement
