Target is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to build production-grade AI and machine learning systems that drive business value across the company, including LLM-powered applications and agentic workflows. ## Required

- 4-year degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience including production systems
- Experience developing AI/ML applications with LLMs and applied machine learning solutions
- Strong proficiency with Python and AI/ML frameworks
- Experience with model APIs, prompt orchestration, and RAG approaches
- Understanding of system design and production deployment for AI systems
- Experience building maintainable, well-tested services and APIs
- Experience with version control, CI/CD, code review, and operational monitoring
- Ability to break down requirements into engineering tasks and deliver solutions collaboratively
- Strong communication skills explaining technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with senior partners
- Self-driven and results-oriented with strong ownership
