## Required

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field
- 6+ years of progressive tax experience combining public accounting with in-house roles
- Deep expertise in US multi-state sales and use tax and UK VAT
- Working knowledge of direct tax and transfer pricing
- Strong research and writing skills for tax documentation
- Experience with tax engines, POS platforms, and ERP systems
- Ability to work independently and own tax calendar end-to-end
- Clear communication of complex tax matters to technical and non-technical stakeholders

## Nice to have

- CPA, ACA, EA, or CTA credential
- Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or multi-site businesses
- Experience managing external tax advisors
- Builder's mindset for creating processes from scratch
