## Summary

This 12-week onsite internship offers hands-on experience developing embedded software for unmanned aerial systems and robotic platforms in the aerospace and defense sector. ## Required

- Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic knowledge of embedded systems and microcontrollers
- Familiarity with C, C++, or Python
- Understanding of low-level software concepts such as memory management, interrupts, or device drivers
- Exposure to hardware communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, or CAN
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- U.S. person status (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) for ITAR compliance

## Nice to have

- Hands-on experience with microcontroller platforms like STM32, Arduino, or Raspberry Pi
- Familiarity with RTOS environments such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr
- Exposure to Linux-based development or embedded Linux environments
- Experience with lab equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or multimeters
- Interest in aerospace, robotics, or autonomous systems
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Junior level or above
