This role suits an experienced CPA from a top public accounting firm or SEC background who can build public-company-grade accounting infrastructure and defend sophisticated positions to auditors and regulators.

## Required

- Active CPA license
- Public accounting experience at Director level or higher at a top firm, or SEC Professional Accounting Fellow
- Deep US GAAP expertise
- Strong SEC reporting knowledge
- Experience leading technical accounting or accounting policy function at a high-growth technology company
- Ability to research and document complex accounting positions and defend them with auditors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

## Nice to have

- 15+ years combined public accounting and industry experience
- Managing Director or Partner level public accounting experience
- SEC service, particularly Professional Accounting Fellow program
- FASB, EITF, or standard-setting exposure
- Public speaking on technical accounting topics
- National office experience at a major accounting firm
- Experience preparing a private company for public-company-grade reporting
