## Summary

Axiom Space is seeking an experienced Flight Software Architect to design and oversee the development of safety-critical, real-time software systems for commercial spacecraft. This role is ideal for someone with deep aerospace software expertise who can translate mission requirements into robust architectures and lead technical teams through complex system integration and verification.

## Required

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 15+ years' experience in mission-critical software development, preferably in aerospace
- Experience designing, deploying, and supporting flight control systems
- Experience developing real-time embedded systems including design, analysis, development, implementation, integration, verification, qualification, and release
- Experience with build automation, continuous integration, configuration management, and deployment
- Track record delivering outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Ability to complete U.S. government background investigation
- U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency

## Nice to have

- Familiarity with spacecraft communications protocols
- Experience supporting aerospace or defense programs
