- Experience at IoT or hardware company
- Strong design fundamentals in backend and distributed systems

- Streaming and ETL pipeline design experience
- Hands-on AWS data services experience
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or AWS CDK
- Production-quality systems with reliability and testing focus
- Cross-team communication across engineers and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and make pragmatic tradeoffs
