AlphaSense is seeking a Quality Engineer to establish testing standards and practices for their AI-driven market intelligence platform as they scale. ## Required

- Fluency with AI tools and proven track record using them to accelerate delivery
- Deep knowledge in at least one of: Kotlin, Python, JavaScript, or Java
- Proficiency in testing methodologies and QA domain theory
- Experience with test management systems like Allure TestOps
- Strong test design skills and API testing experience
- UI test automation framework experience such as Playwright
- Cloud platform experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Containerization technology experience with Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of continuous delivery
- Ability to operate and set direction autonomously without a dedicated QE team
- Experience coaching engineering teams on quality-by-design and shift-left practices

## Nice to have

- Experience setting up and configuring CI/CD tools and pipelines
- Understanding of GraphQL
- Expertise in Performance Engineering with k6 or similar tools
- Observability expertise with OpenTelemetry and Grafana to drive data-informed quality decisions
- Financial data domain knowledge
- Experience testing backend and data pipelines
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology
