## Required

- 5-7+ years of experience in security engineering, with 2+ years at a high-growth startup or similar environment
- Practical experience securing cloud-native applications and infrastructure in Kubernetes, with strong GCP preference
- Strong knowledge of networking, identity management (IAM), encryption, and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
- Hands-on experience in application security including secure coding, vulnerability management, and security testing (SAST, DAST, IAST)
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform
- Development experience with Go and/or Python
- Strong communication skills to explain complex security concepts to diverse audiences

- Exposure to threat modeling
