## Required

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
- 8+ years of data engineering, data architecture, or related experience
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog
- Experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and SQL-based data solutions
- Deep understanding of Medallion Architecture and data warehousing concepts
- Experience designing and implementing secure, governed enterprise data platforms
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices, Git, automated testing, and Infrastructure as Code
- Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and scale large-volume data pipelines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to establish technical standards and mentor engineering teams

## Nice to have

- Azure and/or Databricks certifications
- Experience with enterprise reporting and analytics platforms such as MicroStrategy and Power BI
- Experience defining and implementing enterprise data architecture standards and governance frameworks
- Experience supporting large-scale cloud modernization and data transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with enterprise-wide data quality, metadata management, and data lineage solutions
