- Two years of college or technical school or equivalent

- Experience with X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy, Optical Profilometry, Atomic Force Microscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Energy-Dispersive Spectroscopy, Electron Backscatter Diffraction, Nanoindentation, FTIR, or Raman
- Knowledge of semiconductor process equipment and process flow
- Assist in developing methods and procedures
