Ultimate (often called Ultimate Frisbee) is a team sport in which players pass a flying disc down a field, aiming to catch it in the opposing end zone for a point, while the disc cannot be run with and possession changes on any incomplete pass or interception. It's distinctive for its 'Spirit of the Game' ethos of self-officiation, and is popular at the recreational, college, and international competitive levels for its blend of athleticism and sportsmanship.
