# Two Miles

The two-mile is a middle/long-distance track and field running event equal to roughly 3,219 meters (or run as 8 laps of a standard 400m track), common in scholastic and road-racing competitions in countries that use imperial measurements. It tests a runner's endurance and pacing between shorter sprint distances and the longer 5K and 10K races.
