Tower running is a sport in which competitors race up the stairwells of tall buildings and skyscrapers as fast as possible, testing leg strength, cardiovascular endurance, and mental toughness over thousands of steps. Well-known events include the Empire State Building Run-Up and races up towers such as Taipei 101 and the Willis Tower.
