# Still Rings

Still rings, or simply 'rings,' is a men's artistic gymnastics apparatus event performed on two suspended rings that hang motionless (unlike swinging rings), requiring the gymnast to execute strength holds, swings, and static positions like the iron cross and maltese with minimal swaying. It demands exceptional upper-body and core strength alongside balance and control. It is one of the six apparatuses in men's Olympic gymnastics competition.
