# Cross Triathlon

Cross triathlon (also called off-road triathlon) is a multisport race combining an open-water swim, a mountain bike leg, and a trail run, as opposed to the paved roads used in standard triathlon. It attracts athletes drawn to technical, rugged terrain and the added skill demands of off-road cycling and running.
